In the recent past years, the states of the Great Lakes voted to sell our water from Lake Michigan (maybe some if the others) to a big corporation. We always had pretty inexpensive water, until then. A 12 oz. bottle of water here now cost over $2.00. In Florida, it cost <$1.00, when it's not free! We have an abundance of fresh water, Florida doesn't!

A close look shows a lot if blue states, and Canada (very Liberal) controling the Great Lakes: Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, New York, Canada, etc.
